1. Hi! I’m Scooter and I will walk you through the new ONLINE attendance program known as Aeries. Start by double clicking on the Aeries icon on your desktop. It looks like this: If you can not find the icon you can browse to http://aeries1.smbsd.net/abi/

2. The first time you login the PASSWORD = welcome This is the login screen, you will see everyday you do your attendance. User Name is the same as your email login. Example: srice Don’t forget to select your site.

3. Here you must change your password. I suggest you make it the same as your email login. If you forget it, you will have to call your Office Manager to reset it. If prompted by your browser to SAVE your password check NEVER FOR THIS SITE. This site is supposed to stay very secure.

4. This is the Home page. There might be notes here from the office or district. There is a 20 minute timer on the page. If you ever are away from the page for more than 20 minutes, you get logged out. Don’t worry! Every time you change pages it starts over at 20 minutes again. Oh... look, we still need to do attendance today! To go to the attendance screen, click here

5. So here is your attendance sheet. Good news... you only have to mark the ABSENT students. Any students you don’t mark will default to PRESENT. If you site keeps track of school lunch counts, you will enter your class totals here.

6. Note that the students you have marked as absent change color... how convenient! Once you have finished, marking your attendance sheet, you must click on the “Submit Attendance” button

7. Remember, even if all your students are present, you must still log in and click on the “Submit Attendance” Button
