Most of their kind shares its envorment with its almost exact twin brothers named The White Rhinos. They live in Africa Their climate is warm Unlike their brothering northern India.

Despite it horrifying look a Black Rhino is a herbivore. Which means it does not eat meat it only eats plants which are of made herbs as in herbivore.

The two horns on a Rhino unlike any other animal its horns are not made out of bones. They are made out of hair like fibers that are together. The rhino uses this adaptation for offensive and defensive meaning it is for protection.

A Black Rhino’s skin gives a Black Rhino protection from predator. The thick skin helps it survive rough blows by another animal. This adaotation meets it’s basic need of protection.

Black Rhinos are able to smell in their sleep. This particular adaptation is for protection from animals that try to attack it while it is asleep. Plus it makes up for its bad eyesight. This adaptation is for protection.
