Lesson Plan for SD 1.2, Part 2 (50 minutes): Target: I can estimate angles based on benchmark angles. 5 minutesWarm-up (Fractions and Rotations) 10 minutesBenchmark Angles Graphic Organizer Fold, write in benchmark angles for 90, 45, and 30 Include right, straight, acute, obtuse 20 minutesClasswork Problems A-C Note: Today is about estimating and being reasonable with sketches (no protactors or rulers are needed yet). 10 minutesMake sure answers are accurate for classwork problems. 5 minutesReminders: Homework is in textbook (correct with key online). MathXL – unit readiness is assigned, then follow study plan. Extra Time? Challenge puzzles on angles.

Give an example.
