Dependent Prepositions

It is a preposition that expresses the relation between two events. – She is in Tokyo – She is having breakfast at 2 o clock (time) – Paris is the capital of France

A dependent preposition is a preposition that always follows the same expression; for example, we say ‘interested in’ and not ‘interested on’ or ‘interested about’.
