1 Mu2e Meeting, April 2, 2008 E Prebys Toward a Proposal Key Points  In order to start money flowing, we need to pursue CD-0 (“Statement of Mission Need”) as quickly as possible  Whether or not protons come from Project X is a detail as far as this is concerned. Propose  Proceed as fast as possible with our original plan for a “Phase I” experiment Magnet and spectrometer more or less identical to MECO Protons provided by existing Proton Source via the Accumulator Debuncher  Include boiler plate about possible Project X upgrades  Hand in by Fall? Further resolve  That this be the last talk about “What we’re going to do”. 1
