Something to Remember! Using your voice should not be painful. We are working towards ease, not strain. Hoarseness can be a sign you've been working your voice too hard, or in a way that could damage it.

Clarity Clearness of the voice.

Tone Change of voice to express emotion.

Pitch How high or low the voice is.

Pace Speed of speech.

Volume How loud or quiet the voice is.

Accent Way of speaking used in a local area or country.

You should try to remember all of these words and what they mean as they will be useful throughout your time in drama.
