More than “Mere Men” I Corinthians 3:1-3 – (NKJ) “are you not carnal and behaving like mere men” (KJ) “are you not carnal and walk as men” (ESV) “are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way” (NIV) “… are you not worldly? Are you not acting like mere men”

Focused on Christ Hebrews 12:1-2 – “let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith”

Focused on Christ Ephesians 4:17-24 – “But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man”

Conclusion God does not want us to be like “Mere Men”. We must change a worldly focus and be… Focused on Christ Focused on God’s Will Focused on Heaven
