2. Nest of stork 3046 in Spain We tagged 10 storks in 10 nests. We always tagged the largest bird of the nest. 5 birds were tagged in Dehesa de Abajo (Sevilla), and 5 birds were tagged in Doñana National Park.

Dear Andrea and Martin, the stork nestling that you warned about was predated by an Iberian linx (it seems that this year the linxes in Dehesa de Abajo are taking good profit). We can put this tag in another nestling (e.g. a sibbling) from which we have already perfomed stress series, taking diferent feather and blood samples, assessed disturbance levels etc. But we can only do that tomorrow thursday (with Michael Romero, who is visiting Donana), as I am leaving to Canada soon. It looks like it left the nest, but now it stopped moving away from the nest and movebank says it is dead. It would be very important to go and check whether the animal is dead, and if so, to get the tag back. It's last location was Longitude: -6.1; Lat: 37.20. You can also see it in the movebank or google Earth. If the stork is dead, and you can find it, it would be great if you could take a picture and try to find out why it died.
