DIGITAL LITERACY - BASIC LESSON OUTLINE *Purpose is to change the conversation and change the lens of the student* 1) Give Digital Literacy Quiz 2) Grade in class and take an informal “level of savviness” poll 3) Review good, okay, poor examples from Website Evaluation Guide 4) Go over Digital Literacy Practice directions, break up into groups and walk the room. 5) Review the practice in class and talk about the WHY as a whole class 6) Move into research right away- timing is everything
