Select your favorite gallery! Look at the snowflakes of Gallery 1 at this website.website Now, look at these (Gallery 2).these Finally, study these (Gallery 3).these When asked, raise your hand to vote on your favorite Gallery of photos.

Create a bar graph! Create a title for your graph. Label the x- and y- axes. (Tell what they represent). Create vertical bars to show how many students prefer each Gallery. Color the bars different color. Use the same data to create a pie chart.

Extension activities Create snowflakes for our classroom windows. (Use the correct number of sides.) Make a “real” snowflake or crystal. Find out if snow is the same all over the world. Amaze us! Write a poem to paint a picture of snowflakes, their variety, and purpose. At what temperature do snowflakes form?
