3 For NIH opportunities, who must be registered in eRA Commons? Applicant Organizations –Designate Signing Official (SO) Project Directors/Principal Investigators (PD/PIs) –Register through SO or other account administrator

4 What software is needed to submit grant applications through Grants.gov to NIH? Adobe Reader –Version compatible with Grants.gov forms PDF conversion program for attachments

5 How do you submit an investigator-initiated or unsolicited application? Use “Parent” announcement for your chosen activity code
