2. The Question  The question is NOT whether the average global temperature is going up.  The question is whether or not this increase in temperature is due to human activity or if it is a natural cycle.

GLOBAL WARMING DUE TO HUMAN ACTIVITY  "Global warming is a proven fact and is mostly caused by emissions from cars and industrial facilities such as power plants and factories." – Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change  According to this summary, the IPCC finds that human actions are "very likely" the cause of global warming, meaning a 90% or greater probability.  Since 2007, no scientific body of national or international standing has disagreed about the human impact of global warming. A few organizations hold non-committal positions.

6. GLOBAL WARMING DUE TO NATURAL CYCLES  The science in proving global warming is caused by humans has too many variables.  The warming could be caused by solar activity.  Arctic ice caps grew from 2007-2008.  Water vapor is the only significant greenhouse gas (CO 2 is “insignificant” in regards to greenhouse gases).  CO 2 has been increasing for the last 18,000 years (long before the industrial revolution).

7. Confused?  So is everybody else. That is why this topic is heavily debated.
