2 Advantages and Disadvantages  Advantages: The fuel is cheap when we use biomass. There is waste everywhere and we should never run out.  Disadvantages: The gas from a greenhouse which pollutes the air. Sometimes, people grow biomass where we grow food.

3 How does Biomass generate electricity???  Biomass takes garbage and burns it in a fire box and the heat from the burning garbage boils the water in a boiler. The steam goes through tubes. Then it goes to turbines. The jet hit the blade and starts the generator. The coil of wire starts to turn which is surrounded by a magnet. Then it starts electricity.

4 Other Uses Biomass is used for heating, cooking, burning, and also used to produce electricity.

5 History  Biomass covers the entire life of Earth. People used to use biomass to grow crops. Biomass came from the word wildfire. Biomass was used even when caveman were around.
