Sybil had a big ride during the Revolutionary War that was two days long to tell the people that the British were coming and they were going to attack and burn down Danbury

Sybil was a Patriot. One of her jobs was to watch her house so her next-door neighbors who are Loyalist would not burn their house down. Most of Sybil's neighbors were Loyalist. They had to be very careful.

Sybil's husband Edmond Ogden died of yellow fever. Yellow fever is a very dangerous disease. It got its name because victims of this disease turned yellow. It was often spread by mosquitoes. victims suffered of fevers, muscle pains, headache, shiver, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting. This is how yellow fever looks under a microscope.
