Member Communication, Feedback, and Interaction Working premise Having a microphone for 2-3 people to speak in support or opposition to CR is not the best interaction Selects for those fastest and loudest Want to broaden feedback to include as many people as possible Mimic as much as possible the MAHC development process with multiple rounds and modes of public comment Note: Burden of feedback is on members to read and get involved
21
Overall Process: Member Communication, Feedback, and Interaction CRs open for anyone to submit: received 159 CRs CRs posted March 31, open for member comment until July 6 (~3 months) while TRC reviewing Zero comments received TRC reviews posted in September for member comment Nine received by 9/30 deadline for conference use Conference includes in-person and virtual interaction opportunities Comments accepted for another 2 weeks after conference to allow time for reflection and suggested improvements CRs still open for change Voting starts 1 month after Conference; open for 1 month

24
Change Request (CR) Presentations Presentations 5 minutes CR (may be presented by submitter) 5 minutes TRC review Move to next session CR until 4 CR presentations covered Chat room comments monitored throughout presentations Projected on screen for in-house viewing Real time reviewing and summarizing of chat room comments 20 minutes at end of each section to present submitted/virtual comments to group and, once completed, open microphone for attendees Strict time limits 62 CRs to cover; must keep on time to keep conference on time so all speakers will be cut off when time is completed
