Patient-centred care Patient Safety & Risk Management Skills for Pharmacy professionals Primary care patient pathways Hospital care patient pathways Teaching and learning across all themes will be supported with a range of learning support tools

Proposed content - programme themes 1&2 Patient-centred care Primary care patient pathways: Community Pharmacy Services (Minor Ailments, MURs and NMS, Referrals to GPs) Working with GP practices, Medicines optimisation in Care Homes Hospital patient pathways: Pre-admission clinics, hospital admissions, pharmaceutical care on the wards, discharge planning and processes

Proposed content - programme themes 3 & 4 Patient Safety & Risk Management Clinical Governance Processes across sectors of practice Medicines Reconciliation, Accuracy Checking, Risk Management processes, Controlled drugs, Ethical Dilemmas Manufacturing of pharmaceutical products, Pharmaceutical calculations Quality assurance of pharmaceuticals Skills for Pharmacy professionals Clinical Audit & Research Confidence in Consultation skills Teaching others, Presentation skills, Decision making skills, Conflict resolution

Learning support tools used across Themes 1-4 Learning Support Tools Assignments designed to promote application to practice Practise Calculations Case-based learning, group workshops OSCE scenarios (role-play and written) Sample questions and preparation for GPhC assessment All teaching and learning will be supported via a dedicated Virtual Learning Environment
