Does the amount of water affect the plant growth?

I predict that the plant would grow correctly if you put the right amount of water.

Make sure you have 2 flower pots Pour the soil into both of the flower pot Put 6 or 7 seeds into pot A Pot B same info as pot A Next you pour the water into pot A. Pot B over water the pot*(make sure you don’t over flow the pot, just a little bit)* Move both of your flower pots carefully in front of a window or sunlight/sunlamp

In conclusion the problem, does the amount of water affect the plant growth? I knew the right amount of water would make the plant grow correctly. If someone would follow the same method I did basically just follow the procedures. My science project can relate to real world because plants interact with environment directly by exchange water and energy
