Coordinators Communicate Email Attend Service Area meetings (two a year) When they visit show them what your doing Redirecting students if they need to talk with you for a moment

Site Administration Get to know them Communicate Email Learn school policies = ask question along the way Principals secretary & the facilities manager Attend school meetings and activities Get set up in their sub finder systems immediately

Fellow teachers They can be a great resource Choose wisely– pay attention Double check with Administration They are busy too-------- email / set up times to talk/ list your questions Get Phone numbers

Mentors Greatest resource- use them Will be out to see you in action in the classrooms Haiku support Curriculum and lesson planning support Been where you are and had way less support

Haiku Web portal where resources are stored Used as a communication device Your email has to be set up for us to enter you in the system Align to resource in your binder

PLC Industry Groups Professional Learning Communities for your industry First one later today Course documents- Syllabus & Safety test Make time to attend future meetings Beg, barrow and steal – do not need to reinvent the wheel

Credential Program Start and complete as quickly as you can Do not change program– finish were you start Working with Mentors is a requirement of the program Required documentation Associated Costs

Resources in your boxes Bag of Goodies Binder for Standards, Curriculum and Course Outlines New Teacher Resource Binder– Review, add to it, matches Haiku Safety Kit

Welcome TO RCOE CTE Report back down stairs to the Conference Center Attend and participate in your PLC meeting You are not alone– use your support systems Make your classroom and learning environment one that changes kids lives--- we’re counting on it
