Quadratic functions vs. Quadratic equations Quadratic fxns are written in the following form f(x) = ax² + bx + c Quadratic Equations are when a quadratic fxn is set equal to a number ax² + bx + c = 0

Solutions of a quadratic equation ROOTS are solutions to a quadratic equation. ** To find the roots of a quadratic equation, we find the zeros of the related quadratic function. ZEROS are the x-intercepts of the graph. f(x) = 0 at these points
