4 4 Basic Information included in a TAR  GSA and landholding agency contacts  Acreage/buildings/other improvements  Acquisitions and disposals  History of the use of the property  Easements/permits/licenses  Access/transportation corridors  Historic/cultural issues or concerns  Floodplain/wetlands/endangered species

10 10 Relocation  Offers incentive to relocate from obsolete or underutilized facilities  Disposal pays for costs of relocation and new facility, and reimburses itself from sale of old facility  Seeks 2:1 return on investment

12 12 Who Pays for the Services?  Disposal has funds available to pay for certain studies, which result in a disposal action (i.e. TARs)  Disposal pays for relocation and reimburses itself out of sale proceeds  Other services available on a reimbursable basis (i.e. Disposal Options Studies, appraisals, etc.)
