3 Classic examples of a mystery are the Nancy Drew books, the first one published in 1998. The Hardy Boys are also classic, first published in 1927.

4 A modern example of mysteries are The Wishbone Series. There are mystery elements in it. A mystery T.V. show is Scooby Doo. CSI is also a T.V. mystery.

5  It will be important to pick out mystery when you are older in college, on a test, and when reading books. You would not get that a book is a mystery unless it tells you that it is a mystery. It could be confusing if you were reading a mystery and you did not know that it was a mystery. The plot would be confusing and so would the characters. If you thought the bad person was the good person you would read the story wrong.
