2 By the end of this lesson… All: Students produce a poster promoting an environmental issue (whaling). Most: Students carry out some research to back up their poster with facts. Some: Students present a powerful and effectively persuasive poster.

3 What do you care? Write down your favourite food. Now, imagine that by eating that food, you are contributing to the loss of one animal or plant per day. Would you still eat that food? Why?
