Keypal Projects: Students communicate electronically with other students from around the world. Similar to traditional Pen Pal Projects. Collaborative and Keypal Projects

Version 2.0 (elem) 5 Two Primary Methods: 1. Web Sites –Many organizations maintain large databases or lists of Collaborative Projects. –These can be searched using Keywords or browsed by Subject. 2. Educational Listservs –There are Listservs where various Projects and Partners can be found. Finding Collaborative & Keypal Projects

Version 2.0 (elem) 6 For Collaborative Projects: Use Selection Criteria on Handout 3A to identify Top Notch Projects. Once you identify a Collaborative Project, answer the Questions on Handout 3A. For Keypal Projects: Use Handout 3B to review secrets for a Successful Project. Suggestions for Finding Projects

You should monitor Student Interactions with their Keypals and other Students. Do Not provide e-mail addresses of Partners to Students Unless they know not to contact them outside of the classroom.
