7 Step 1. Evaluate your population o Should be done early and often o Know your students oStudent Demographics oCampus Culture

8 Step 2. Generate the ideas: o What do you want to achieve?  learning objectives o Brainstorming: First, Best and Different o Budget, yes….Roadblock, no o Include population representatives, if possible

9 Step 3. Set Date o Consider conflicts (university, other major programs) o Contact appropriate venue oHow much will it cost? Shop around. oSeating for number of participants? oWhat type of room set-up will you need?
