Welcome to Mrs. Mohn’s First Grade Class! I believe in you! Choose your attitude, and try to learn something new every day
2
-When you arrive at school, please sit along the wall behind our room. You can talk softly to friends. -After the bell rings, I will welcome you into our class. -A student greeter will welcome you, also. - Enter our classroom quietly, hang your backpack on your hook in the cubby, and place your lunchbox underneath the backpacks. - Take your folder to your seat, and remove your homework. Place it on your desk. -Next, take out your journal. Follow the directions for Bell Work. When you are finished, please choose a book from your box, and read. You may read several books if we have time. Procedures and Routines

-Before we say the pledge, I will show morning announcements on the screen. -Every student will have the job of leading the Pledge of Allegiance for one week at a time. - The person who leads the pledge, will say, “Please stand, salute, and pledge.” -Salute means to put your right hand over your heart. -This is the way we show respect to our country and to our flag. We are “good citizens” when we do this. -When we finish, I will say “Please be seated.” Wait patiently for directions. Pledge of Allegiance

- Listen and follow directions the FIRST time they are given. - Show respect…. Use NICE Words or NO words. (This means, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”) - Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself. - If you have a question or want to say something, please raise your hand, and calmly wait to be called on. Treat others the way you want to be treated!!!! Class Rules
