Relevance to Environmental Education and Missouri Show-Me-Standards The Web-based information will assist educators enhance students’ proficiency of knowledge, skills and competencies – activities are correlated with proficiencies listed in the Missouri Show-Me Standards: Enhance awareness and knowledge about natural resources and environmental benefits Enhance awareness and knowledge about natural resources and environmental benefits Facilitate development of skills, as children grow older, to identify and prevent nonpoint source pollution Facilitate development of skills, as children grow older, to identify and prevent nonpoint source pollution

Implementation Workshops (for teachers) in Southwest and North East Missouri regions 2/3 undergraduate/graduate hours offered to those interested from local universities (NE- Truman State University; SW – Southwest Missouri State University Participants – will be asked to apply learned material and provide feedback Local watershed newsletters and brochures are being developed for individual watersheds
