2 Hickory House Description
Hickory House is a skilled nursing facility for the elderly. Therapy room where OT’s and PT’s work together to work on activities of daily living. It is mainly an out-patent facility.

3 Job description Help OT’s and PT’s conduct therapy.
Work on fall prevention with patients. Work to improve fine motor skills with patients. Help patients with activities of daily living

4 Improving Activities Of Daily Living
To improve on activities of daily living the therapists focus on balance and fine motor control . Stranding techniques such as placing pegs in a peg board wile standing works on fine motor control wile working on balance Therapists introduce tasks that will help with the patients ability to live an independent lifestyle.
