WHAT STORY WILL YOU TELL? Choose your story Make a list of 3-5 stories that you would be interested in sharing. Family story Favorite book Personal story Historical event

TELLING YOUR STORY IN PICTURES Requirements Translation Reflection Dilation Similar Figures All must be mathematically correct Things to think about… Any line can be a line of reflection Center of dilation limits location Prominence Symbolic vs. Literal You may include other math elements Write down some ideas before you start drawing.

TODAY’S GOAL By Tuesday, Nov. 20To receive approval Use the scratch paper provided to draw your picture. Have it ready for approval. Your project must have all required elements and be mathematically correct. You must make any corrections asked and be able to explain the significance of your picture.

FINAL DRAWING Requirements Colored Glued on construction paper A paragraph on the back telling me about your story (no math!)

TODAY’S GOAL Draw your final picture Begin to color it Glue on cardstock and write paragraph if time allows. We will have more time to work after break, but there will also be another part to do.

MATH WRITE UP See the rubric and write up questions on the separate handout. Make sure to write your answers on a separate sheet of paper.
