12. Reviewing Current Literature Take 10 minutes to read the selected article about Common Core Standards. Be prepared to write one statement you think is significant about each section of the article. –Introduction –Federal Intrusion –New Vistas –Preparing Teachers –Waiting for Tests

13. Hot Potato Share Each teacher will be given an article. The teacher will have 5 mins to read article. You will then take two minutes to write a significant statement about the article on the corresponding piece of paper. After two minutes, the teacher will pass the paper to the left and write his/her next significant statement. This process will continue until all teachers have had an opportunity to write significant statements about each section of the article.
