LE PASSÉ COMPOSÉ Le passé composé is used to describe events that took place in the past. It is the combination of: avoir + the past participle of another verb. Example: j’ai + mangé

J’ai mangé – I have eaten Tu as + travaillé
LE PASSÉ COMPOSÉ J’ai mangé – I have eaten Tu as + travaillé Tu as travaillé – You have worked

LE PARTICIPE PASSÉ THE PAST PARTICIPLE
The past participle of a regular –er verb is formed by dropping the -er ending of the verb and replacing it by –é.>
