3. 1. The official home of the British royal family in London, containing almost 600 rooms.

4. 2. It’s a fine gothic church, very important in England’s history: almost all kings and queens were crowned here.

6. 4. The world’s biggest observation wheel; you can see many of London’s sights from a height of 135m.

7. 5. It’s a very popular square in the centre of London, dominated by the statue of Lord Nelson.

8. 6. A famous building which contains a large and important collection of ancient art, writings, coins, drawings.

9. 7. The most famous of London’s churches; built by Christopher Wren after the Great Fire. It has got a wonderful dome!

10. 8. A bridge which crosses the River Thames, just to the east of the Tower of London. It can open in the middle to let ships pass through.

11. 9. A fortress, built in the 11 th century. Early in its history it was a royal residence and prison, now it’s a museum.
