1. The official home of the British royal family in London, containing almost 600 rooms.

7. The most famous of London’s churches; built by Christopher Wren after the Great Fire. It has got a wonderful dome!

8. A bridge which crosses the River Thames, just to the east of the Tower of London. It can open in the middle to let ships pass through.

9. A fortress, built in the 11 th century. Early in its history it was a royal residence and prison, now it’s a museum.
