4 Safety Matters: developing practice in safeguarding adults Pilot group: teams from 5 agencies Birmingham, Dorset, Ealing, Leicestershire, Sheffield 3 meetings in 6 months (Sept 08 – Feb 09) reviewed all sections of the handbook and the practitioner guide opportunity to reflect and respond contributed additional local experiences

8 Final Resources In response to the feedback received we are currently producing: a practitioner handbook for those involved in safeguarding casework a stand alone literature review a Councillors’ Briefing a password protected area of the website containing all of the above resources and an online discussion forum and additional materials
