3. Themes
Bravery: Charles Wallace when he got possessed by the beast then Meg isn’t afraid anymore. While Meg was with aunt beast she was brave enough to get through it.
Love: while she was fighting IT she was trying to teach him love because she loved Charles Wallace and her father.

4. The Black Thing
Meg and Calvin were in the middle of violence and danger but Mrs. Which told them to be quit or the black thing would hear them. Then Meg saw a shadow fly across the moon and she didn’t know what it was she felt extinguished when that happened.

5. The man with red eyes
While they were hiding they saw a man with red eyes look at them warily. They were trying to figure out who it was but they couldn’t figure it out.

6. IT
Charles Wallace was under a trance and Meg and Calvin were trying to snap Charles out of it. But Meg was showing IT love. After she taught him love she snapped Charles Wallace out of it.
