3 Sex has become the new fab to sell items. When seeing a sexual image, people automatically spark feelings in them of pleasure. When an image creates that feeling in you, you remember it as a good thing. When seeing the item while shopping, you have that thought of pleasure and it rears you to buy it.

4 The line of appropriate advertising seems to be getting thinner. What man would not want to buy this cologne when seeing this ad?

5 Food advertisements have especially leaned towards sex ads. Eating is a main activity in peoples lives, so advertisers need to find different ways to keep consumers attention. Food is pleasure in peoples lives because it makes you feel better when you eat. It works to put sex and food together because you can get the same feelings from both of them.

6 Some ads use sex when sex has nothing to do with the item. For example, who thinks of sex when you are buying toilet paper or hearing aids?

7 Sex does sell! When looking at this ad for jeans, it gives the impression that if you buy these jeans, this could happen to you. It is interesting that you see ads for items that do not even show the items in the ad.

8 Even health care has resorted to using sexual innuendo for advertising. This man is not the typical doctor you see when you go to the hospital, but it does make women more eager to go to the doctor.

9 Asking people to look through these advertisements and question them if they would buy these products solely on the ads, a majority of people say they would. These images give a lasting impression on people and that is the purpose of advertising companies. Their intention is to get you to think about their product over another.
