Relative Location Relative location is the proximity of a location in relation to another point of interest. It is about where something is ex: it’s near I- 45, its near the Gulf of Mexico, it is in the Northern United States.

Absolute Location Absolute Location- is a point on the Earth’s surface that is expressed in lines of latitude and longitude. It is the exact coordinates on a map Ex: 45N, 70S

Latitude Latitude is an imaginary line, also called a parallel, that circles the Earth parallel to the Equator; used to measure a distance north or south of the Equator in degrees.

Longitude Longitude is an imaginary line, also called a meridian, that runs north and south from one pole to another; used to measure a distance east or west of the Prime Meridian in degrees.
