Have you had an experience of being strongly tempted to do things your own way rather than God’s? What was the outcome? b.God punishes His children because of His love for us, as any good parent does. He allows us to experience suffering. Is it hard for you to think of suffering as a mercy from God? Why or why not? c.Abel gave to God his best; Cain gave to God half-heartedly. When have you been like Abel in this past week? When have you been like Cain?
