Zanevsky Main task of LHE JINR : Development and construction of 100 Chambers for Transition Radiation Detector Testing at a laboratory conditions and on the beam at CERN Detector Commissioning on the beam at CERN At blg. 40 of LHE JINR has been constructed: ■ Rooms (including 3 clean rooms ~120 m 2, class better than 10.000) ■ Climate facility at clean rooms ■ Winding machine under PC control, tables, special tools e.t.c. Main goal: e/π discrimination of > 100 (p > 1 GeV/c) Position resolution of ~ 200 μm Large area (  700 m2, 6 layers)
