LEARNING ABOUT DINOAURS DELANIE FLORES
2
ABOUT THIS POWER POINT We have been reading about fossil hunters and searching for fossils these are some things we learned.
3
Fossils Fossils is a type of bone left behind by a dinosaurs turned into stone. They turn into fossils when minerals replaced bone into stone. Fossils are clues left behind by animals, footprints, and bite-marks.
4
What do fossils tell us? One mistake was that paleontologists thought that the Tyrannosaurs Rex. Was the biggest meat eating dinosaur. It was actually Giganotosaurus. Another mistake paleontologists made is that all dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurs Rex had a poor smell but studies show that they had a good one.
5
Where can I find fossils? Paleontologists put replicas because some of the bones are to fragile to put on display. Some times they have not found all of the bones. So instead they create molds of it.
