2. Pre-Cana Team Qualifications  Be married for at least one year  Have a healthy sacramental marriage  Be comfortable speaking in public  Complete the lay leader training modules on diosav.org/familylife  Be approved by the pastor or dean

3. Training Process  Contact the pastor or lead couple on the team to volunteer  Complete all the training modules and the evaluations for each module  Assist at one of the pre-marriage sessions  Prepare one topic to present as a couple

4. Training Process Continued  Review your material with the other team members  Sign up for a program time  Present your topic to the engaged couples  Debrief and evaluate with the whole team

Team Training Modules  Introduction to Training Process  Theological Perspectives of Marriage  Diocesan Guidelines  FOCCUS & Parish based programs  Pre-Marriage Program Components Communication, conflict management, finances, intimacy, natural family planning, spirituality  Wedding Celebration

6. Certification by Diocese  After you complete all the modules and return your evaluation sheets you will receive a certificate from the Family Life Office to present to your pastor and team lead couple.  We welcome you to the team for marriage ministry in the diocese.
