16 NDNG Diversity Council Strategic Goal/Objective Action Step #1: Enhance Diversity and Inclusion –Assess effectiveness of current branding and marketing; OPRs: Air and Army Command –Set specific goals to attract underrepresented groups; OPRs: Army and Air Command –Develop, mentor, and retain top talent reflective of the communities we serve; OPR: HRO –Examine policies, processes and procedures and refine to leverage diversity and inclusion; OPR: HRO

17 NDNG Diversity Council Strategic Goal/Objective Action Step #2: Leaders Champion Diversity and Inclusion and Understand how to Achieve Success –Adjutant General and JEC will communicate to their organizations that enhancing diversity and inclusion is a top priority. OPR: TAG/JEC –Subordinate Leaders will emphasize the value of diversity and inclusion. OPR: Army and Air Command –Thru existing battle rhythm, including OPD/NCOPD, educate our personnel on diversity and inclusion. OPR: SEEM, Army and Air Command

18 NDNG Diversity Council Strategic Goal/Objective Action Step #3: Develop and Increase Partnerships to Promote Diversity and Inclusion, as well as Share Best Practices –Identify and formalize partnerships that will enhance diversity and inclusion in our organization. OPR: SEEM –Commanders will empower EOL and HRA to increase diversity and inclusion awareness and celebrate special observance events. OPR: Army and Air Command
