5. Identify Concern  What problems or issues do you feel need your attention?  How can you help with these problems?  Will this benefit someone other than yourself, family, friends? To do:  Brainstorm at least 5 ideas  List advantages and disadvantages for your top 3 ideas

6. Set Goal  Goal is SMART  Specific  Measurable  Attainable  Realistic  Time Bound  2 Hours min. to complete  No paperwork or driving time count

7. Form A Plan  Who is involved- List all necessary people whether job is large or small  What- What is each person going to do? What will your tasks be?  When- specific date, time  Where- exact location  How will you accomplish your goal?  What resources will you need to complete your goal?  What problems could you encounter and how will you overcome the barriers?

8. ACT  Actual Proof of project completion (pictures, supervisor signature, thank you card, cert, etc.)  Must include a learning log  Entry for each 30 min time period  Step by step of what you did  Attitude (what you see, feel, hear)  Skills (what skills you transfer from class  Knowledge (what new information are you learning)  Must include parent signature

9. Follow-up  One to Two page paper 12 font, double spaced, essay format  Analyzes project successes and problems  Gives suggestions for improvement  Discusses additional projects which could be completed  Discusses how this project relates to class and what skills were learned

10. Format  Typed  Notebook or folder  Less than 3 spelling errors  Due: January 10th
