2 What’s RSS? RSS is considered a name variously used to refer to three different standards –Really Simple Syndication (RSS0.9) –Rich Site Summary (RSS0.91) –RDF Site Summary (RSS 1.0) Compatibility between 7 different versions

3 RSS 2.0 RSS 2.0 is the latest standard of RSS Harvard Law School is now responsible for the future development of the RSS 2.0 specification

4 RSS Structure RSS document is often known as “RSS feed” Can have three different types of file extensions:.RSS,.XML and.RDF
