Independence Day. In 1775 the Revolutionary War for independence from British Empirebegan. On the 4 th of July in 1776 the final draft of the Declaration of independence, written by Thomas Jefferson was adopted.

Halloween. On October 31,Halloween is celebrated. This is the eve of all Saints Day.Halloween is traditionally associated with telling ghost stories and bonfires.

Chinese New Year. The Chinese New Year is celebrated in early February. It is a time when people chase away the evil spirits by setting off firecrackers. A huge cloth dragon sways back and forth around the street corners chasing a red sunball or a white pearl-ball.

New Year. I like to decorate the New Years tree with toys, little coloured lights, sweets and a beautiful star on the top.
