 Changing my method to cross questioning to promote critical thinking in my students.  Math is important. Try as much as possible to relate it to their life. Find creative ways to instill an interest in math.  Avoid drill-and-kill! Try to find creative ways to practice math.  Make the first math challenge rewarding, to encourage further  Make it fun, and they will learn! Math truly can be fun  Well Defined Goals + Action Plan + Motivation + Commitment + Effort = SUCCESS

 Challenges A. People will be reluctant to approve my new methodology. B. Making up the right mindset of my students C. I will encounter students who are taking math classes and have no interest in math at all but they are still being required to take it for their major and also some students that are very frightened about just how hard math can be.  Solutions A. I will share my ideas and my course manual with the relevant people and gain their consents. B. I will share my views and involve my students to optimize my actions C. In both of these instances, I as the teacher must show the student that while math can be challenging, it can be done, all it takes is a little discipline, persistence and hard work.

 Technology has enabled us to make some pretty bad mistakes. In the long run this is all right if we recognize and correct these mistakes. But one of the lessons seems to go to the very core of the way we see ourselves: teaching is not the same as learning, and changes that we think improve teaching may actually degrade learning. Can we make the transition from “teachers" to “learning facilitators"?

 Providing more opportunities for students to ask a question and then involving them to find a solution.  Group Discussions will be promoted.  Students will be required to discuss how they reach their solutions.  Random group assignments will be administered to discuss math's problems.

 Fellow teachers who are teaching the same subject.  Word processing, multimedia and spreadsheet applications.  Search engines  Intel® Teach Program Getting Started Course Manual.

 By implementing my newly acquired 21 st century teaching approaches, students will be empowered and will appreciate and gain a better knowledge of MATHEMATICS.
