8. Tameshigiri The swordsman must perform all cuts in a safe manner. If at anytime during the cutting attempts the swordsman is unsafe, the cut no matter successful or not will not be counted. All test requirements need to be performed using the same shinken. If a student changes sword while completing the test requirements, the requirements will be reset to the beginning The Swordsman has 6 months to complete all the cuts from the date of the first cut.
