Components of Children’s Literature
Review definition of children’s literature: Literature focused on children’s experiences and understanding. Charlotte Huck says, “Children’s books are books that have the child’s eye at the center.” Literature written for and read by children between the ages of 1 and 16 ranging from the picture book to the young adult novel.
