4. Egypt was home to about 5 million people and each took on a different role which reflected their social status. Who can remember some of the other jobs/occupations people of Egypt had?

6. Guided Reading “How People Lived” As we work through the reading discuss the way daily life differs between each social class

7. Independent Practice Individually answer the corresponding questions.

8. Group Work Each group will be assigned a different social group and asked to write a journal entry detailing their daily activities. One member from the group will read the entry aloud.

9. Closure I will call on students randomly and ask you to detail the daily lives of different social classes.
