What is Oasis? Electronic system for storing student records @ UCF: Official student record Used to track student duty hours, patient logs… Students “self-report” School uses to monitor for issues/rapid response

If you are just starting with Oasis: Establish data entry policy at start of academic year Inform students of policy Uniform entry policy simplifies reports process

UCF Policy Student enters total weekly hours in Oasis Student notes reasons for weeks >80 hours: – “two On-Call assignments” Coordinator monitors totals for ongoing compliance
