2 Introduction: ICT course was introduced in 2012 for IX th class and it will be continue for X th class from June 2013. You might be knowing that it is one of the compulsory course of 50 marks for 9 th and 10 th class and the result is in grade for 10 th class. The main purpose of ICT is every one has use ICT in daily life. Board has provided text book to students and teachers.

3 Course Contents: For 9 th students: 1. Concept and Necessity of ICT 2. ICT Tools 3. ICT Soft tools- Word Processor 4. ICT Soft tools- Spreadsheet 5. ICT Soft tools- Presentation 6. Introduction of Internet 7. ICT in Languages, Social Science and Arts 8. Morals and Ethics

4 Evaluation Scheme of 9 th : First Term: First Term Examination: Written Exam – 40 marks (2hrs) Practical Exam – 10 marks (1 hrs) Total = 50 marks Internal Evaluation: Unit Test- I – 20 marks Oral – 05 marks Total = 25 marks First Term Total = 75 marks Second Term: Second Term Examination: Written Exam – 40 marks (2hrs) Practical Exam – 10 marks (1 hrs) Total = 50 marks Internal Evaluation: Unit Test- I – 20 marks Oral – 05 marks Total = 25 marks Second Term Total = 75 marks Final Result : Annual Result = First Term=50+Second Term=50+Internal Evaluation = 50 Final Result = 150/3 Therefore Average = 50 marks

5 10 th ICT includes: 1. Potential of ICT 2. Internet Applications 3. ICT in Science, Mathematics, modeling and simulation 4. ICT in day to day life 5. Information in Indian Languages 6. Use of Geogebra in understanding mathematics Total 6 chapters for 10 th syllabus. Hence in this training course we have cover all 6 chapters. It will discuss in detail later.

6 The exam pattern for 10 th : Theory Examination: The theory examination will be conduct by Board for 40 marks. Practical Examination: It is for 10 marks and it will be conduct at school level. Classification: one practical - 08 marks journal - 02 marks Total 10 Marks In 10 marks students should complete one practical for 8 marks and remaining 2 marks for Journal. Journal contents i) Certificate ii) Index andCertificateIndex iii) Hard copy of assignments. Before the practical examination teachers should certify the journals and it will bring at the time of annual practical examination. The lists of practical’s/assignments are available at the end of 10 th ICT book.

7 Result grades: Marks 18-22- C Marks 23-29- B Marks 30-39- A Above 40 - A+ And marks < 18 - Fail

8 Question Paper format: Q.1 Fill in the blanks 1..55 (1 mark each) Q.2 True or false 1..55 (1 marks each) Q.3 Multiple choice single answer 1..66 (1 mark each) Q.4 Multiple choice Two answers 1..4 4 (2 mark each) (any two) Q.5 Answer in brief 1..8 12 (2 marks each) (any six) Q.6 Answer the following 1..4 8 (4 marks each) (any two) According to above format there are total 6 compulsory questions for 40 marks. Marks with internal options is 56. So students has choice to write the answer.
