2 2. Children – precious to God Mt.18:5-10 a. Welcoming children = welcoming Jesus v.5 b. Beware of harming children – v.6-9 - the danger of God’s judgment –v.6,7 - take drastic action to avoid judgment – v.8,9 c. God’s care of children – v.10; Heb.1:14

3 3. Children-prayed for by Jesus Mt.19:13-15 a. The disciples – Jesus has more important things/people -v.13 b. Jesus - “unimportant” people are important – v.14 - prays for the children – v.15

4 4. The Church – adults & children a. Children - You are precious to Jesus - As you grow older continue to be dependent on God – trust & obey him. - Be a good role-model to the adults b. Adults - Protect, guide, teach & encourage - Be a good role-model to the children - Pray for our children
